I hope........ It's just that........ But, I......... Well, I......... The above phrases to avoid keep you in failure mode. It keeps you in fear mode. It keeps you from making decisions that you need to make in order to move forward. Yes, there is truth in what Yoda said. "There is no try. There is only one thing to do." We don't try on clothes. We put on clothes. We don't try to eat. We do eat. We don't try to walk. We walk. We don't try to make our bed. We are either making it or not making it. We are always either doing something or not doing something. The above phrases also prevent us from doing the right thing. The right thing that is best for our own health. Let's look at the word well-being. Well as in wellness. Are you well in mind? Are you well in your body? Are you well in your soul? All of us should take time for self-reflection on what we are thinking, doing, and not doing, etc. It is often in the not doing where we go wrong. That we mess up relationships. How we take care of ourselves is a reflection of how we treat others. Look, I know we all have a past, and our own traumas that we've experienced in life. Every single human on this earth has suffered through trauma, and more than likely several forms of trauma the more that we live this thing we call life. It's not something that we should be ignoring. Some people I have noticed do seem to ignore and outright lie to themselves when they say they have never suffered trauma. Trauma is not just the physical and/or sexual abuse. An interesting but not interesting thing is that 99% of the time it's always something in childhood. Whether it was real or unreal, how we perceived things as children in the family that we were raised in. If you follow me or pay any attention to me, you will have noticed that I do tend to focus on communication, trauma, and relationships. I mean that is what bodywork can help with, whether someone wants to admit that or not. Touch IS healing. Touch IS love. Touch IS light. Too many of us have suffered trauma through the act of touch. Whether it was by hand, by an instrument, or by a weapon. Back in the day a lot of us received the belt from our father. I am no exception to that. That is how we were disciplined. Did it work? I doubt it. Whether or not we think it did, I have heard some men say that it stopped them from being a 'bad boy'. Nonetheless, it does create trauma inside the body, and it will come out later within the teenage years, and end up in our adult years within the relationships that we build. It really fucking sucks that the traumas that we've experienced in life affect the relationships that we have in the here and now. And I'm sorry to say, but no one is ever 100% healed. Because memories are memories. It doesn't necessarily mean that someone is purposefully holding onto those memories. It just means that the memories are there. And sometimes they do come forward. The more that we heal from them, the less the triggers happen. Nonetheless, life is life and there are times they will still pop up. Sometimes when they pop up, we are still getting triggered. Sometimes when they pop up, we know now how not let them emotionally drain us. Bodywork is a way that we can help ourselves get back in touch with our own body, therefore create some relief from the stress of everything that is going on in our lives. An immersion is a place for you to relax, unwind, learn, receive bodywork, coaching, teachings, ask questions to become more educated spiritually and emotionally about birth, life, death and after death. All of us have experienced trauma in some form or another and each of us deals with it in our own unique way for the better of our souls or not. All decisions we make in life will either help us grow or stagnate our growth. A trauma for one person may not be a trauma for another person. Traumas are the little 't' and the big 'T'. Most of us understand what the big "T's" are. Such as sexual and physical abuse, traumatic vehicular accidents, coming from an alcoholic and/or drug addicted family or loss of a loved one. Little traumas may be the breaking up of a relationship, sudden moves, change/loss of employment. Traumas are as far and wide as the mind can imagine and they are stored in body tissue.
